Goals:

  • Storytelling Through Cards: From the eerie original Innistrad to the recent Midnight Hunt and even other supplemental sets, this cube aims to encapsulate the essence of plane's chilling atmosphere, weaving together tales of gothic horror, supernatural intrigue, and the struggle for survival. As you draft and play, each card contributes a piece to the unfolding narrative, creating an immersive and thematic experience that captures the very soul of Innistrad.

  • Budget Friendly: Designed with a mindful budget, this Cube offers an immersive experience without draining your wallet. Discover the dark and thrilling world of Innistrad without being haunted by financial deficit.

Design Philosophy:

  • Singleton Rule: Due to a lack of Innistrad-themed cheap fixing, the cube breaks tradition only for additional copies of dual lands as well as multiple copies of Evolving Wilds to help enable Delirium.

  • Individual Portrayal: Experience the uniqueness of each legendary character in the world of Innistrad. No legendary character can appear more than once in the cube, creating a narrative-driven and varied gameplay experience. Embrace the one-of rule to avoid facing the same legendary you've just played.

  • Typal Strategies: Allied colors feature a kindred gameplan, enhancing the flavor of each creature type.

  • Mechanical Synergy: Enemy colors focus on mechanical overlap, keeping an eye out for gameplay interactions.

Draft Archetypes:

  • wu - Spirits: Small flying creatures overwhelm opponents, leveraging Disturb for some graveyard value.

  • ub - Zombies: Exploit small tokens for powerful effects, with access to counters and removal in blue and black spells.

  • br - Vampires: Make use of Blood Tokens and aggressive creatures; balance aggression with value from Madness cards.

  • rg - Werewolves: Track the time of Day based on spells cast; werewolves get stronger at night and buff each other.

  • wg - Humans: Build a board of small creatures and tokens, focusing on +1/+1 counters and Coven rewards.

  • wb - Aristocrats: Sacrifice creatures for greater rewards, incorporating humans, vampires, and demons with a secondary lifegain theme.

  • ur - Spells Matters: Combine blue control spells and red burn, with creatures benefiting from non-creature spells being cast.

  • bg - Graveyard Matters: Empower creatures through the graveyard, activate Delirium effects, and capitalize on creatures dying in the same turn.

  • wr - Aggro: Humans and angels attacking early, utilizing red burn spells for the finishing blow, with cycling Day and Night as a secondary theme.

  • ug - Flashback: Recast efficient spells from the graveyard and leverage self-mill effects for added efficiency.

Heavily inspired from Innistrad.
